Science Sunday
Science Sunday is a science focused interactive learning experience one Sunday a month at the Children’s Discovery Museum. Students will learn from our instructors through hands-on experiments and learning curriculum.

Past Science Sunday partnerships included Cowlitz PUD, Waste Control, Mt. St. Helens Preservation Center, Cowlitz Historical Museum, Boy Scouts of America.

First Responders' Celebration Day: Saturday, February 24th from 10am-4pm.

Join us for our next Science Sunday event. This is a SPECIAL Science Saturday event that focuses on the First Responders of Cowlitz County. Cowlitz County First Responders will be on at the event to talk about the science behind what they do and how they protect the community.
First responders that will be at the event are Longview Fire Department, Cowlitz Fire & Rescue, Cowlitz County Coroners, Kelso Police Department, Cowlitz County Sheriff's Department, Cowlitz County Chaplaincy, Cowlitz Family Health Center, Cowlitz County Emergency Support Services, etc...
